From the highest part of the historical Tsarevets hill, there is a wonderful view. To the west is the amphitheater Varosha Renaissance complex, which descends along the historic Gurko Street. To the northwest, opposite Tsarevets, is Trapezitsa hill. In the interhills on both banks of the river is located the ancient Asenova area (now Asenov). To the northeast, the road to Arbanasi - Gorna Oryahovitsa winds along Garga Bair. You can see part of the old Arbanasi houses and the area of Ksilifor. To the southeast you can see Momina krepost and in the lower part of the Tsarevets hill - the medieval quarter of foreign merchants, called by the Turks Frank-hisar. The buildings of the Veliko Tarnovo University "Cyril and Methodius Brothers" and the student town are located on the hill of Sveta Gora.
